Unrivalled dry bulk handling technology
AS-C was responsible for the introduction of a cost efficient and reliable
belt technology which heralded the arrival of the SIMPORTER twin belt ship
loader, still unrivalled for its benefits of low power usage and minimum
product degradation. The SIMPORTER system returns an unloading power consumption of
less than 0.25kW/T unloaded, unmatched by any other mechanical unloader. There are now
over 20 units in operation around the world. The
SIMVEYOR, air supported belt conveying technology is also in use throughout the
world.
A new conveying dimension.
In the late 1990's, a new era of product development, collaboration and
innovation brought a new dimension to AS-C.
Future success has been consolidated by the acquisition of the unique 'U-CON'
range of 'fold & lock' belt conveyors for use with multi-directional conveying systems.
This is used in ship loading, unloading terminals and conveying systems around the world.
The ability of the system to turn through tight corners without transfer
points is a winning feature of the technology. The totally enclosed nature of conveying
where the belt envelops the material ensures that the environment is protected from the
material but also that the material is protected from outside contamination.
